The biggest hit of the summer, of the year, is Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland as Peter Parker in his fourth outing in the tight suit in a decade. Holland was also in The Odyssey earlier this summer. He singlehandedly represents American youth as only an English actor can. He is not tall. He is only 30 (the median American is approximately 39.4), and Holland has perfected a style of embarrassed acting that has made him relatable, endearing, and inoffensive. His career is so remarkable because he thrived during the Great Awokening, which, as Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, one of its fomenters, has recently declared, was crazy.
