In January 2005, when I was in college, I wrote a blog post called “Feminism means primping for all.” It was around this time that I was starting to flesh out so to speak a theory about male beauty and its significance within heterosexuality. 2005 was more than 20 years ago, so my writing and thinking have evolved. I share this to put a timestamp on my nonsense, not to try to relaunch whatever precise conversation I imagined I was starting at the time.
