America’s Marvelous Mythology

Americans occasionally look at high school history and civics tests from previous centuries with amusement mixed with shame. The contrast between how much young citizens once knew about our country and how much we know today shows the poor quality of our education, even and maybe especially for those who have graduated from the typical American university.
