In an incredible bit of engagement bait that I am absolutely falling for, this week the New York Times produced a roundtable discussion between Times editor Nadja Spiegelman, leftist streamer Hasan Piker, and New Yorker writer Jia Tolentino. The topic was what Spiegelman calls “microlooting,” which is when people steal from big corporations without guilt and maybe even a sense of moral superiority. (This, they appear to think, is a new phenomenon.)
