Pride and Ping Pong

It’s 1952 New York, and Marty Mauser will not be denied. Mauser is a ping-pong street hustler who aspires to become a table tennis world champion and who does not hesitate to step on everyone around him to get there. Played brilliantly by Timothée Chalamet (Dune, A Complete Unknown), Mauser is the central character in the director Josh Safdie’s (Good Time, Uncut Gems) latest and perhaps best movie to date.
