There is a new documentary out on HBO Max this week about Counting Crows and their singer-songwriter, Adam Duritz. I’m sure you have heard of them. The paradox of Counting Crows—this is true of most ’90s rock bands who aren’t Nirvana or Radiohead—is that everybody knows who they are but is aware of only one or two of their songs. And often not by the titles, just the most quoted lyrics.
