Confronting Nietzsche

The theoretical physicist Anthony Rizzi wrote a book two decades ago to save physics (in the larger sense of science as a whole) from Werner Heisenberg and extreme interpretations of quantum mechanics generally, and at the same time to reestablish philosophy as the essential forebear to empirical science. He titled the book The Science Before Science to situate philosophy as the means for understanding science and ultimately all knowledge.
