In summer 2024, in the weeks after Challengers had made the world realize that he’s a movie star, Josh O’Connor could be found making a home for himself in a small village in the Cotswolds, a hundred miles or so away from the noise. (He’d rather we didn’t name the exact area, because the last time he did that in an interview, mail started showing up—some letters, some books.
