I went to see 28 Years Later because a headline in the Spectator World called it “the movie of the summer.” I had never seen either director Danny Boyle’s 2002 original, 28 Days Later, or the 2007 follow-up, 28 Weeks Later, directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.
