Edited by Mira Dayal and Josephine Heston, the anthology is a collective response to a set of ongoing questions: What makes an art-writing practice or an editorial process feminist? How do critics and editors of color find entry points, guidance, and support in an art world that has long prioritized straight, white, male writers, artists, and readers? How do we decide which artists to uphold or critique, and how do we understand the impact of our critiques? What agendas do writers and editors operate under?
