I was curious about Boy Parts by Eliza Clark for a long time, particularly because of the way it has been celebrated for its interrogation of “gender.” Clark, who was named in Granta’s Best of Young British Novelists list, has two books slated for a 2023 and 2024 release—Penance, a novel, and She’s Always Hungry, a collection of short stories.
