'Everything Everywhere All at Once' Tops Oscar Nominations

The 2023 Academy Award nominees were announced January 24 by two former Girls co-stars, Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams (we assume as part of the Girls resurgence). Going into the ceremony, The Fabelmans, Everything Everywhere All at Once, and The Banshees of Inisherin had the wind at their backs following successful showings at precursor ceremonies such as the Golden Globes and the guild awards of SAG and the DGA, among others.
