Protesters have been flooding the streets of San Juan, P.R., for more than a week to demand Gov. Ricardo A. Rosselló's resignation. The demonstrations started after a leaked group chat revealed both offensive comments the governor made about other government officials and relationships with former staff members who now represent special interests. For many Puerto Ricans frustrated by government corruption and the mismanagement of Hurricane Maria aid funds, the chats were the final straw.
