Supreme Court's Popular Liberal Tells All

Nearly 30 years ago, when I was serving as a law clerk for a judge on the federal appeals court in Washington known as the D.C. Circuit, a fellow clerk invited me to walk down the hall for a home-baked cookie or two. The baker, or so I thought, was my friend's boss: the renowned jurist Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I did enjoy the cookies, and I enjoyed meeting Judge Ginsburg as well.
