You will not be surprised to hear that Walter Isaacson's biography of the hugely admired and widely mourned Steve Jobs is a runaway bestseller, breaking this year's record by selling 379,000 copies its first week out. But you might be surprised to hear that it didn't match the record set by another book, with a somewhat less prominent protagonist, that sold more than 400,000 copies in its first week just a year ago: Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth.
