“IT has all become entertainment,” Joe McGinniss said two weeks ago at his home outside Amherst, Mass. “In the 21st century, politics is just another branch of the entertainment industry.”
He was discussing the career of Sarah Palin, and her undimmed celebrity, but he might as easily have been referring to his new headline-grabbing book about her, “The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin.”
